It should be noted, however, that many of the epitaphs are very incomplete; some, indeed, consisting of no more than a couple of words. Jewish Chronicle of 4 Dec 1908, written under the non de plume of ‘Peripateticus’, with the main emphasis on the “Princely Families” of Gompertz, Salomons, Keysers.
