  	From the Hebrew inscription: The four year old son of David Meir who was the Warden of the Burial Society [Hevra Kadisha] and the Benevolent Society. The child died on Tuesday 2nd Cheshvan 5584. A child of delight; a lovely and pleasant boy. Like a flowering lily, suddenly plucked out. The child is with us no more, for God has taken him. May the bright light of [eternal] life envelop/bound him.
