Moses JOSEPH was sentenced at Warwick assizes in 1826 and arrived as a convict in Sydney in 1827. Looking at the Criminal Register available on Ancestry.com he was originally sentanced to death.
Moses Jospeh rose from convict to contributing to the first University of Sydney. Rosetta NATHAN followed him to Sydney, where they married in 1832, the first official Jewish wedding in Australia.
