  	Inscription: Erected in fond remembrance of George Elliot John JOHNASSON the dearly beloved and only son of John and Mathilde Johnasson whose gentle spirit returned unto God that gave it on the twenty first day of February 1874 in the eleventh year of his age. From the Hebrew inscription: The boy Gershon b. Jacob & Matilda Jonaton ------- 11th year Sat 4 Adar 5634. In March 1889 Moses John unsuccessfully requests the disinterrment of his son for reburial in Kensal Rise cemetery. The request is refused.
