  	From the Hebrew Inscription: Tombstone of the rich man exalted honoured Simeon/Shimon Attia died in the city Grand Bassa Liberia 27th Tevet [buried] Fri 8th Sivan Mr Simon Attia late of Mogador Morocco died at Grand Bassa, Liberia, West Coast of Africa and was temporarily buried near one of his warehouses. His son Haim made arrangements for his remains to be brought to London. The remains arrived at Liverpool on the S.S. Beni on 2nd Jun and were buried the following day. [1]
