    • Possibly a member of this family: Meir Schorr who adopted the last name Brodsky, (after he moved from Brody and settled in Kyiv). He had five sons: Israel Brodsky (1823 – 1889) who surpassed his brothers in wealth and philantropy, Lazar Brodsky and Leon Brodsky who were practically at the head of sugar industry in Russia (owned 22 sugar factories and 3 refineries).
