      • Inscription: Beneath this monument of human frailty are deposited the remains of a brother and 2 sisters the beloved children of Jacob and Elize Lazarus who perished by a fire that suddenly broke out in their parents house at 44 Hampstead Road on the 5th Nov 5627, their respective ages were, Emanuel aged 10 years, Miriam aged 8 years, Sophia aged 6 years.
Passerby drop a tear, O'er innocence and beauty that slumber here. Alas! a consuming fire has laid low. These flowers than which sweeter ne'er did blow. Yet this .. spot conceals but their earthly clod. Their spirits now blown into the Paradise of God.
