  	Inscription: Mrs Frances who was the widow of the late Mordecai Sheftall Esq and daughter of Moses and Esther Hart she was born at the Hague in the province of Holland in Jul 1740 was a resident of this city 59 years and departed this life at Beaufort South Carolina Oct 25th 1820 aged 80 years and 3 months her remains were here interred on 22 Nov 1820 this stone is erected to her memory by her only surviving daughter Esther Sheftall
